West end of Loch Ness, nary a ripple. Phoned Rent-A-Monster for appropriate props - still waiting.
Humpy backed bridge at Whitebridge. Allegedly the finest humped bridge in Scotland.
Turbulent peaty waters, home of trout and salmon.
Monster proof (oh about 70%) fence near Loch Ness.
This is the other side of Loch Ness, rarely seen by tourists, because coaches don't fit.
Ness River I think this is.
Bridge over the River Ness - a bridge too far.
Highlander 4 - The Giggling - There can be only One!

Castle Urquart. Somewhere over the rainbow. I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto.
Stalag Inverness. Well folks here it is. After weeks of fine B&B's some excellent B&B's here is the one that defines the "bottom line". One shower per person per day between designated hours (keep the toilet lid down and switch off the lights). They forbid you to wash your knickers in the room, (Karen and Seona did anyway and then hid them in the closet during the day) Our hosts, at 5.30 pm directed us to the laundry 15 minutes away, that closes at 6.00pm. 2 types of cereal to choose from for breakfast, (fold down those boxlids as soon as you have poured out your cornflakes. Leave the house by 10am and don't dare come back until 4:00pm. They were most put out to discover that one of our party had managed to leave some mud on their pink carpet and out came the whisk broom and lectures. It was like living in a British school dormitory with out the puddings. The hosts were "creepy", totally unsuitable and should find another line of work, grave digging suggests itself. There are ton's of B&B's in Inverness find somewhere else. Not recommended by any of us.
Cromerty Firth - retirement home for old oil rigs.
Jools saw a sign that directed us to an archeological dig at Tarbert, on the right hand side of Scotland. So, Thatch, Jools, Karen and Seona got to play at being "Julian" from "Meet the Ancestors"
Arrived in Wick, the hour was getting late and the B&B's were all full. This B&B was undergoing renovation and was our saviour that night. Great value and wonderful people.
Oh no! Another tourist photo op. John O'Groats - the northern most tip of the Scots mainland. Froze our buns off to bring you our happy smiling faces.
